15. In its resolution 50/8 of 1 November 1995, the General Assembly decided that the Committee on Food Aid Policies and Programmes of the World Food Programme (WFP) should be reconstituted as the Executive Board of WFP, and also decided to approve the revised General Regulations of WFP.
١٥ - قررت الجمعية العامة، في قرارها ٥٠/٨ المؤرخ ١ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٥ أن يعاد تشكيل لجنة سياسات وبرامج المعونة الغذائية التابعة لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي لتصبح المجلس التنفيذي للبرنامج. وقررت أيضا اعتماد اللائحة الداخلية المنقحة لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي.

By its decision 1995/227 of 6 June 1995, the Economic and Social Council recommended to the General Assembly the adoption of a draft resolution entitled " Revision of the General Regulations of the World Food Programme and reconstitution of the Committee on Food Aid Policies and Programmes as the Executive Board of the World Food Programme " (see A/C.2/50/L.2).

٢ - وأوصى المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، بموجب مقرره ١٩٩٥/٢٢٧ المؤرخ ٦ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٥، بأن تعتمد الجمعية العامة مشروع قرار معنون " تنقيح اللائحة العامة لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي وإعادة تشكيل لجنة سياسات وبرامج المعونة الغذائية لتصبح المجلس التنفيذي لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي " .

In that resolution, the FAO Conference decided, subject to the concurrence of the General Assembly of the United Nations, that the Committee on Food Aid Policies and Programmes would be reconstituted as the Executive Board of WFP with 36 members, and decided to approve the revised general regulations of WFP contained in the appendix of that resolution.
وفي ذلك القرار، قرر مؤتمر منظمة اﻷغذية والزراعة، رهنا بموافقة الجمعية العامة لﻷمم المتحدة، إعادة تشكيل لجنة سياسات وبرامج المعونة الغذائية لتصبح المجلس التنفيذي لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي، على أن يتألف المجلس من ٣٦ عضوا، وقرر الموافقة على اللائحة العامة المنقحة لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي الواردة في تذييل ذلك القرار.

In that resolution, the FAO Conference decided, subject to the concurrence of the Assembly, that the Committee on Food Aid Policies and Programmes should be reconstituted as the Executive Board of the World Food Programme.
وبموجب القرار المذكور قرر مؤتمر منظمة اﻷغذيـــة والزراعة، رهنا بموافقة الجمعية، إعادة تشكيل لجنة سياسات المعونة الغذائية وبرامجها بحيث تصبح المجلس التنفيذي لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي.

The Acting President (interpretation from Arabic): Before taking action on the draft resolution, I wish to point out that paragraph 1 would have the General Assembly decide, inter alia, subject to the concurrence of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), to reconstitute the Committee on Food Aid Policies and Programmes as the Executive Board of the World Food Programme.
الرئيس بالنيابة: قبل البت في مشروع القرار، أود أن أشير الـــى أن الفقـــرة ١ من منطوقه تقضي بأن تقرر الجمعية العامة، في جملـــة أمور، ورهنا بموافقة منظمة اﻷغذية والزراعة لﻷمم المتحـــدة أن يعــاد تشكيل لجنة سياسات المعونة الغذائيـــة وبرامجهــا بحيث تصبح المجلس التنفيذي لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي.

At the same meeting, the President amended the draft resolution entitled " Revision of the General Regulations of the World Food Programme and reconstitution of the Committee on Food Aid Policies and Programmes as the Executive Board of the World Food Programme " , contained in document E/1995/14/Add.1.
٦٩ - وفي الجلسة نفسها، عدل الرئيس مشروع القرار المعنون " تنقيح اللائحة العامة لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي وإعادة تشكيل لجنة سياسات المعونة الغذائية وبرامجها بحيث تصبح " المجلس التنفيذي لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي " والوارد في الوثيقة E/1995/14/Add.1.

At the same meeting, the President amended the draft resolution entitled " Revision of the General Regulations of the World Food Programme and reconstitution of the Committee on Food Aid Policies and Programmes as the Executive Board of the World Food Programme " , contained in document E/1995/14/Add.1.
٦٨ - وفي الجلسة نفسها، عدل الرئيس مشروع القرار المعنون " تنقيح اللائحة العامة لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي وإعادة تشكيل لجنة سياسات المعونة الغذائية وبرامجها بحيث تصبح " المجلس التنفيذي لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي " والوارد في الوثيقة E/1995/14/Add.1.

13. On 6 June 1995, the Council adopted decision 1995/227 on the revision of the general regulations of the World Food Programme and reconstitution of the Committee on Food Aid Policies and Programmes as the Executive Board of the World Food Programme.
٣١ - وفي ٦ حزيران/يونيه ٥٩٩١، اتخذ المجلس المقرر ٥٩٩١/٧٢٢ بشأن تنقيح اللائحة العامة لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي وإعادة تشكيل لجنة سياسات المعونة الغذائية وبرامجها بحيث تصبح المجلس التنفيذي لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي.

1. By resolution 50/8 of 1 November 1995, the General Assembly decided, subject to the concurrence of the Conference of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, that the Committee on Food Aid Policies and Programmes should be reconstituted as the Executive Board of the World Food Programme.
١ - بموجب القرار ٥٠/٨ المؤرخ ١ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٥، قررت الجمعية العامة، رهنا بموافقة مؤتمر منظمة اﻷمم المتحدة لﻷغذية والزراعة، أن يعاد تشكيل لجنة سياسات المعونة الغذائية وبرامجها بحيث تصبح المجلس التنفيذي لبرنامج اﻷغذية العالمي.

The Board was informed that the Executive Board approval of the IPSAS plan was not necessary as the Executive Board had already endorsed the General Assembly resolution to implement IPSAS and presentations were made periodically to the Executive Board on the progress of the plan.
وأُبلغ المجلس بأن موافقة المجلس التنفيذي على خطة المعايير المحاسبية الدولية ليست ضرورية لأن المجلس التنفيذي وافق بالفعل على قرار الجمعية العامة بتطبيق المعايير المحاسبية الدولية وقُدمت دوريا تقارير إلى المجلس التنفيذي عن التقدم المحرز في الخطة.
