وإذ تستذكر أيضا أن الدول الأعضاء أكّدت مجدَّدا، في الإعلان السياسي، عزمها على مكافحة جميع جوانب مشكلة المخدرات العالمية وتعهدت بكفالة استفادة النساء والرجال على قدم المساواة، ودون أي تمييز، من الاستراتيجيات الموجَّهة إلى مكافحة مشكلة المخدرات العالمية، من خلال إشراكهم في جميع مراحل صوغ البرامج والسياسات،

15. Take account of the need for indicators and instruments for the collection and analysis of accurate, reliable and comparable data on all relevant aspects of the world drug problem and, where appropriate, the enhancement or development of new indicators and instruments, and recommend that the Commission on Narcotic Drugs take further measures to address that issue;
15- نأخذ في اعتبارنا الحاجة إلى مؤشرات وأدوات لجمع وتحليل بيانات دقيقة وموثوقة وقابلة للمقارنة عن كل جوانب مشكلة المخدرات العالمية ذات الصلة، عند الاقتضاء، وإلى تعزيز ما هو موجود منها أو استحداث مؤشرات وأدوات جديدة، ونوصي لجنة المخدرات باتخاذ مزيد من التدابير لمعالجة هذه المسألة؛

UNDCP has provided the leadership required at the international level to pursue a large array of policies that aim at dealing comprehensively with the various aspects of the world drug problem.
