a. General Assembly. Subject to the agreement of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs in 1997, one report to the General Assembly at its special session in 1998 on the implementation by Member States of countermeasures against money-laundering contained in the 1988 Convention;

4. Recommends that the General Assembly, at its special session, address the issues on the basis of the principle of shared responsibility and with full respect for the principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations and international law, particularly respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of States;
٤ - يوصي بأن تتناول الدورة الاستثنائية للجمعية العامة المسائل استنادا إلى مبدأ تقاسم المسؤولية، ومع الاحترام الكامل للمبادئ المجسدة في ميثاق اﻷمم المتحدة والقانون الدولي، ولا سيما احترام سيادة الدول وسلامة أراضيها؛

4. 28. Also at its 8th plenary meeting, the Governing Council decided to hold its own special session, from 12 to 14 November 1997, to review the results and decisions of the General Assembly at its special session for an overall review and appraisal of the implementation of Agenda 21, to be held in June 1997.

The Programme undertook a review of the extent to which gender concerns were integrated into its population and development programmes as part of its implementation of the Programme of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development.7 The findings of this review were reported to the General Assembly at its special session in June 1999.
