In this regard, it will be recalled that the Preparatory Committee for the special session has requested the Secretary-General to submit to it at its second substantive session, in the year 2000, a comprehensive report assessing the overall level of implementation of the Summit, including the identification of constraints, successes, lessons learned and recommendations for further actions.

11. In its decision PC.3/1 of 7 October 2008, adopted at its second substantive session held from 6 to 17 October 2008, the Preparatory Committee decided to commence immediately the process of negotiations on and drafting of the outcome document of the Durban Review Conference.
