After several rounds of talks between high-level delegations from Chad and the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, an agreement was signed on 4 April 1994 at Surt, Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, establishing the practical modalities for the implementation of the ICJ Judgment.
وبعد عدة جولات من المحادثات بين وفود رفيعة المستوى من تشاد والجماهيرية العربية الليبية جرى التوقيع على اتفاق في ٤ نيسان/أبريل ١٩٩٤ في سرت بالجماهيرية العربية الليبية، يحدد الطرائق العملية لتنفيذ حكم محكمة العدل الدولية.

3. Notes with appreciation the cooperation extended by the Government of Chad and the Government of the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya to UNASOG in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement signed at Surt on 4 April 1994;
٣ - يلاحظ مع التقدير تعاون حكومة تشاد وحكومة الجماهيرية العربية الليبية مع فريق مراقبي اﻷمم المتحدة في قطاع أوزو وفقا ﻷحكام الاتفاق الموقع في سرت في ٤ نيسان/ابريل ١٩٩٤؛

Noting that the agreement signed at Surt (Libya) provides that United Nations observers shall be present during all the Libyan withdrawal operations and shall establish that the withdrawal is actually effected,
وإذ يلاحظ أن الاتفاق الموقع في سرت )ليبيا( ينص على أن يحضر مراقبون من الأمم المتحدة جميع عمليات الانسحاب الليبية وأن يتثبتوا من هذا الانسحاب فعلا،

" Welcoming the agreement signed at Surt on 4 April 1994 between the Governments of Chad and the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya concerning the practical modalities for the implementation of the judgment delivered by the International Court of Justice on 3 February 1994 regarding the Aouzou strip,
" وإذ يرحب بالاتفاق الموقع في سرت في ٤ نيسان/أبريل ١٩٩٤ بين حكومتي تشاد والجماهيرية العربيــــة الليبية بشأن الطرائق العملية لتنفيذ حكم محكمة العدل الدولية الصادر في ٣ شباط/فبراير ١٩٩٤ بشأن قطاع أوزو،

5. In letters dated 6 and 7 April 1994, respectively, the permanent representatives of the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya (S/1994/402) and Chad (S/1994/424) transmitted to me the agreement signed at Surt, on 4 April 1994 between their Governments concerning the practical modalities for the implementation of the ICJ Judgment.
٥ - في رسالتين مؤرختين ٦ و ٧ نيسان/أبريل ١٩٩٤ على التوالي، أحال الممثلان الدائمان للجماهيرية العربية الليبية (S/1994/402) وتشاد (S/1994/424) اليّ الاتفاق الموقع في سرت في ٤ نيسان/أبريل ١٩٩٤ بين حكومتيهما بشأن الطرائق العملية لتنفيذ حكم محكمة العدل الدولية.

In its resolution 915 (1994) of 4 May 1994, the Security Council established the United Nations Aouzou Strip Observer Group (UNASOG), to observe the implementation of the Agreement, signed at Surt, the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, on 4 April 1994, between the Republic of Chad and the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, where the parties pledged themselves to abide by the Judgment of the International Court of Justice.
٥٦ - وقد أنشأ مجلس اﻷمن، بقراره ٩١٥ )١٩٩٤( المؤرخ ٤ أيار/مايو ١٩٩٤، فريق مراقبي اﻷمم المتحدة في قطاع أوزو وذلك لمراقبة تنفيذ الاتفاق، الموقع في سرت بالجماهيرية العربية الليبية في ٤ نيسان/أبريل ١٩٩٤ بين جمهورية تشاد والجماهيرية العربية الليبية، الذي تعهد فيه الطرفان بالالتزام بحكم محكمة العدل الدولية.

2. The mandate of UNASOG was to observe the implementation of the agreement signed on 4 April 1994 at Surt (Libyan Arab Jamahiriya) by the Governments of Chad and the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya concerning the practical modalities for the implementation of the Judgment delivered by the International Court of Justice on 3 February 1994 (see S/1994/402 and S/1994/424).
٢ - كانت مهمة فريق مراقبي اﻷمم المتحدة في قطاع أوزو تتمثل في مراقبة تنفيذ الاتفاق الموقع في ٤ نيسان/ابريل ١٩٩٤ في سرت )الجماهيرية العربية الليبية( بين حكومتي تشاد والجماهيرية العربية الليبية حول الكيفية العملية لتنفيذ حكم محكمة العدل الدولية الصادر بتاريخ ٣ شباط/فبراير ١٩٩٤ )انظر الوثيقتين S/1994/402 و (S/1994/424.
