٦ - تطلب أيضا إلى اﻷمين العام أن يقدم إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الخامسة والخمسين، عن طريق المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي في الجزء المتعلق بالشؤون اﻹنسانية من دورته الموضوعية لعام ٢٠٠٠، تقريرا عن تنفيذ هذا القرار؛

8. Requests the Secretary-General to report to the General Assembly, through the Economic and Social Council, at the humanitarian affairs segment of its substantive session of 2006, on the implementation of the present resolution and on the progress made in the relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts of the affected countries.
8 - تطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم إلى الجمعية العامة، عن طريق المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي في الجزء المتعلق بالشؤون الإنسانية من دورته الموضوعية لعام 2006، تقريرا عن تنفيذ هذا القرار وعن التقدم المحرز في جهود الإغاثة والإنعاش والإعمار التي يبذلها البلدان المتضرران.

5 - تطلب إلى مؤسسات منظومة الأمم المتحدة ذات الصلة، وسائر المنظمات الدولية ذات الصلة، والحكومات، والمنظمات غير الحكومية، أن تتعاون مع الأمين العام ومنسق الإغاثة في حالات الطوارئ لكفالة أن يتم في الوقت المناسب تنفيذ القرارات التي اتخذت في الجزء المتعلق بالشؤون الإنسانية من المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي في دورته الموضوعية ومتابعة تنفيذ تلك القرارات؛
