Article 36 also states that " The sentence of house arrest may not be imposed on offenders who are less than eighteen years old and on women in the state of pregnancy or women in custody of small children who are less than eight years old at the time the offence is committed. "
وتنص المادة 36 على أنه " لا يجوز توقيع عقوبة الإقامة الجبرية على المتهم إذا كان عمره أقل من 18 عاماً أو على المرأة وهي في حالة حمل أو المرأة الحاضنة لأطفال صغار تقل أعمارهم عن ثمانية أعوام وقت ارتكاب الجُرم " .
