1. 51. The peoples of the 11 Non-Self-Governing Territories under consideration had attained a " full measure of self-government " as required under article 73 of the Charter of the United Nations and had freely determined their political status, as required under the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples.
٥١ - واستطرد يقول إن شعوب اﻷقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي التي ينظر في أمرها حاليا، والبالغ عددها ١١ إقليما، قد نالت " قسطا كاملا من الحكم الذاتي " ، على النحو المطلوب بموجب المادة ٧٣ من ميثاق اﻷمم المتحدة، وقامت على نحو حر بتقرير مركزها السياسي، مما هو مشترط في إطار إعلان منح الاستقلال للبلدان والشعوب المستعمرة.
