3.1 The author's complaint concerns primarily the right to an effective appeal against conviction and sentence.

The Committee therefore considers that the author's complaint is not within the scope of paragraph 1 of article 14 of the Covenant, and thus declares this part of the communication inadmissible ratione materiae under article 3 of the Optional Protocol.
ولذا تعتبر اللجنة أن شكوى صاحب البلاغ لا تدخل في نطاق الفقرة ١ من المادة ١٤ من العهد، ومن ثم تعلن أن هذا الجزء من البلاغ غير مقبول من حيث الموضوع بموجب المادة ٣ من البروتوكول الاختياري.

In this regard, the Committee considers that the author's complaint has no relation with the right guaranteed in paragraph 1 of article 15 of the Covenant.

Insofar as the author's complaint in relation to article 14, paragraph 1 of the Covenant is concerned, it is in our view inadmissible on the following grounds:

4.2 As regards the author's complaint that she is a victim of discrimination on the grounds of age, the State party explains that the lower age limit for eligibility was expressly set at 60.
4-2 وفيما يتعلق بشكوى صاحبة البلاغ بأنها ضحية تمييز على أساس العمر، توضح الدولة الطرف أن العمر الأدنى لاستيفاء الشروط حدد صراحة بسن 60 عاما.

Nevertheless, no investigation was initiated and no action was taken in respect of the author's complaint.
