In another case, when having to determine what qualities of the goods were agreed upon, one Supreme Court stated that, given that the parties had a different understanding of the meaning of the contract, the language of the contract had to be interpreted according to article 8, paragraph 2, i.e. " according to the understanding that a reasonable person of the same kind as the other party would have had in the same circumstances " .
