وما أتكلم عنه هنا والآن هو الإبادة التي يتعرض لها الأطفال في الأحياء الفقيرة بمدننا الكبيرة، الذين يبحثون في صناديق القمامة عن شيء يأكلونه بدلاً من أن يذهبوا إلى المدارس، والذين درجوا على تعاطي الماريوانا أو استنشاق الغراء لكي ينسوا أن المجتمع قد نسيهم وأنهم أدمنوا الخمر نتيجة لما يعانونه من انحطاط وتفسخ في عالم تكرس فيه العدالة والفرص لآخرين.
