In providing a fixed amount of compensation in the decision the Council noted that this amount may not necessarily provide the same compensation that the bedoun claimants could have received under the regular claims programme.
ولاحظ المجلس، بمنحه مبلغ تعويض ثابت في المقرر، أن هذا المبلغ لا يقدم بالضرورة نفس التعويــض الذي كان سيحصل عليه المطالبون من أفراد البدون في إطار البرنامج العادي للمطالبات.

The Committee also approved additional funds on an interim basis to allow claims processing work to proceed on the claims accepted for late filing by the Governing Council at its fifty-first session from a number of Governments, as well as the claims of the bedoun accepted for late filing by the Governing Council at its fifty-second session.
كما وافقت على منح أموال إضافية على أساس مؤقت، لتمكين الشروع في أعمال البت في المطالبات التي وافق مجلس الإدارة في دورته الحادية والخمسين على تقديمها بشكل متأخر من عدد من الحكومات، بالإضافة إلى المطالبات المقدمة نيابة عن البدون التي وافق مجلس الإدارة على تقديمها بشكل متأخر في دورته الثانية والخمسين.

Having acquired sufficient knowledge, through a sampling exercise conducted by the secretariat, that members of the bedoun community did suffer direct losses as a result of Iraq's invasion and occupation of Kuwait, which would have been compensable under the UNCC's regular claims programme,
