وعلى نحو مماثل، تنص المادة 84 من قانون الإجراءات الجنائية على ما يلي: " يجوز لأي شخص يدّعي أنه تضرّر نتيجة لارتكاب جريمة أو جنحة أن يرفع دعوى مدنية بتقديم شكوى أمام قاضي التحقيق ... " .
