The Secretary-General was pleased to inform all Member States that his Special Envoy's mission resulted in agreements not only on the maintenance of the office in Cambodia of the United Nations Centre for Human Rights but also on various steps to be taken to enhance the cooperation between the Government of Cambodia and the Centre for Human Rights (see also paras. 18, 19, 21 and 23 below).

(d) The signing of the new Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Cambodia and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights for the implementation of a technical cooperation programme on human rights, and encourages both parties to cooperate constructively with each other for further improvement of the situation of human rights in Cambodia;
(د) توقيع مذكرة تفاهم جديدة بين حكومة كمبوديا ومفوضية الأمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الإنسان بشأن تنفيذ برنامج للتعاون التقني بشأن حقوق الإنسان، وتشجِّع الطرفين على التعاون بشكل بنّاء فيما بينهما من أجل زيادة تحسين حالة حقوق الإنسان في كمبوديا؛

(h) The renewal of the memorandum of understanding between the Government of Cambodia and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights for the implementation of a technical cooperation programme on human rights in November 2007, and encourages both parties to cooperate constructively with each other for further improvement of the situation of human rights;
