1. Each State Party shall take the necessary measures to establish its jurisdiction over the offences mentioned under articles 3 and 4 where such offence is committed in its territory or on board a vessel or aircraft registered in its territory.
1 - على كل دولة طرف أن تتخذ التدابير اللازمة لغرض ولايتها القضائية على الجرائم المذكورة في المادتين 3 و 4، عندما ترتكب تلك الجرائم في اقليمها أو على متن سفينة أو طائرة مسجلة في اقليمها.

١ - على كل دولة طرف أن تتخذ ما قد يلزم من التدابير لتأكيد سريان ولايتها القضائية على الجرائم المقررة في المادة )المواد( ]...[ حين يرتكب الجرم في اقليم تلك الدولة أو على متن سفينة أو طائرة مسجلة في تلك الدولة .اقترح بعض الوفود عقد مقارنة بين صياغة هذه المادة وصياغة المادة ٤ من اتفاقية ٨٨٩١ .
