16. Transnational corporations and other business enterprises shall be subject to periodic monitoring and verification by United Nations, other international and national mechanisms already in existence or yet to be created, regarding application of the Norms.

Further, transnational corporations and other business enterprises shall conduct periodic evaluations concerning the impact of their own activities on human rights under these Norms.
وعلاوة على ذلك، يجب أن تقوم الشركات عبر الوطنية وغيرها من مؤسسات الأعمال بعمليات تقييم دورية لما لأنشطتها من تأثير في حقوق الإنسان في إطار هذه القواعد.

Transnational corporations and other business enterprises shall investigate work-related accidents, keep records of incidents stating their cause and remedial measures taken to prevent similar accidents, ensure the provision of remedies for the injured, and otherwise act in accordance with paragraph 16 (e).
وتحقق الشركات عبر الوطنية وغيرها من مؤسسات الأعمال في الحوادث ذات الصلة بالعمل، وتسجّل هذه الحوادث مع بيان أسبابها والتدابير المتخذة لمنع وقوع حوادث مشابهة، وضمان إتاحة وسائل الانتصاف للمصابين والتصرف وفقاً للفقرة 16(ه).

5. Transnational corporations and other business enterprises shall not use forced or compulsory labour as forbidden by the relevant international instruments and national legislation as well as international human rights and humanitarian law.
5- لا يجوز أن تلجأ الشركات عبر الوطنية وغيرها من مؤسسات الأعمال إلى استخدام عمل السخرة أو العمل الجبري المحظور في الصكوك الدولية والتشريعات الوطنية ذات الصلة وكذلك في القانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان والقانون الإنساني الدولي.
