37. A number of States made specific reference to the provision of bilateral and multilateral assistance in support of alternative development programmes, while a few noted that they provided development assistance to countries affected by illicit crop cultivation in the areas where those crops were found, though their programmes were complementary rather aimed directly at crop elimination.
37- وأشار عدد من البلدان بالتحديد إلى توفير المساعدة الثنائية والمتعددة الأطراف دعما لبرامج التنمية البديلة، بينما أشار عدد قليل منها إلى أنه قدّم المساعدة الإنمائية إلى بلدان متضررة من زراعة المحاصيل غير المشروعة في المناطق التي تزرع فيها تلك المحاصيل، مع أن برامجها كانت تكميلية وليست موجهة مباشرة للقضاء على المحاصيل.

٢١ - وفيما يتعلق بتعزيز التعاون الدولي من أجل التنمية البديلة على وجه الخصوص ، وهو ما تطالب به خطة العمل ، أحرز اليوندسيب والحكومات تقدما ملموسا خلال فترة قصيرة للغاية من الزمن في الحصول على دعم المؤسسات المالية الدولية للبرامج الموجهة الى التنمية الريفية لصالح المناطق والسكان المتضررين من زراعة المحاصيل غير المشروعة .

11. Agencies of the United Nations system and relevant financial institutions should cooperate, within their spheres of competence, in supporting rural development for regions and populations affected by illicit crop cultivation.
١١ - ينبغي لوكالات منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة والمؤسسات المالية ذات الصلة أن تتعاون، ضمن مجالات اختصاصها، على دعم التنمية الريفية للمناطق والمجتمعات السكانية المتضررة بزراعة المحاصيل غير المشروعة.
