Some delegations recognized the continuing efforts undertaken by the Security Council to, inter alia, enhance the vigilance of the application of sanctions, evaluate the humanitarian impact of sanctions on vulnerable groups within the target States, as well as their impact on third States, streamline the working procedures of the sanctions committees and facilitate access to them by third States affected by the implementation of sanctions.
17 - واعترفت بعض الوفود بالجهود الدؤوبة التي يبذلها مجلس الأمن لتحقيق أهداف من ضمنها، توخي المزيد من الحذر عند تطبيق الجزاءات، وتقييم الأثر الإنساني للجزاءات على الفئات المستضعفة داخل الدول التي تستهدفها الجزاءات، فضلا عن أثرها على الدول الثالثة، وتبسيط إجراءات عمل لجان الجزاءات وتيسير الأمر أمام الدول الثالثة المتضررة من تطبيق الجزاءات للاستفادة من هذه اللجان.

It was also imperative for States thus affected by the implementation of sanctions to be able to exercise their right to consult the Security Council, in accordance with Article 50 of the Charter.
