Decides that for the purposes of this agreement, the global warming potentials used to calculate the carbon dioxide equivalence of anthropogenic emissions by sources and removals by sinks of greenhouse gases listed in Annex A to the Kyoto Protocol shall be those provided by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in its Fourth Assessment Report based on the effects of the greenhouse gases over a 100-year time horizon.
2- يُقرر، لأغراض هذا الاتفاق، أن تكون مؤشرات القدرة الاحترارية العالمية المستخدَمة في حساب مكافئ ثاني أكسيد الكربون للانبعاثات البشرية المنشأ من المصادر وعمليات الإزالة بواسطة البواليع فيما يتعلق بغازات الدفيئة المدرجة في المرفق ألف لبروتوكول كيوتو هي تلك التي قدمتها الهيئة الحكومية الدولية المعنية بتغير المناخ في تقريرها التقييمي الرابع استناداً إلى آثار غازات الدفيئة في أفق 100 عام.

For the first commitment period the global warming potentials used to calculate the carbon dioxide equivalence of anthropogenic emissions by sources and removals by sinks of greenhouse gases listed in Annex A shall be those accepted by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and agreed upon by the Conference of the Parties at its third session.
3- فيما يخص فترة الالتزام الأولى تكون احتمالات الاحترار العالمي، المستعملة في حساب مكافئ ثاني أكسيد الكربون من الانبعاثات البشرية المنشأ بحسب المصدر وإزالة غازات الدفيئة المدرجة في المرفق ألف بواسطة البالوعات، هي التي قبلها الفريق الحكومي الدولي المعني بتغير المناخ ووافق عليها مؤتمر الأطراف في دورته الثالثة.

3 bis. For the second [and subsequent] commitment period[s] the Y used to calculate the carbon dioxide equivalence of anthropogenic emissions by sources and removals by sinks of greenhouse gases listed in Annex A [bis] shall be those accepted by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and agreed upon by the Conference of the Parties at its Zth session.
