(b) To increase awareness of key thematic issues among target audiences through the implementation of communication strategies, the Department of Public Information, in collaboration with the Communications Campaigns Service, the global network of United Nations information centres and services, and the information components of United Nations offices, extends the Department's reach to audiences around the world.
