25 - ندعو إلى إصلاح شامل لمجلس الأمن الدولي في جميع جوانبه بغية جعله أكثر ديمقراطية وتمثيلا وشفافية ومحاسبة.ونؤكد مجددا موقفنا المبدئي بشأن التمثيل الكافي للدول الأعضاء في منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي في أي فئة من فئات العضوية في مجلس الأمن الموسع.

73 - وأكد المؤتمر قراره القاضي بأن أي مقترح لإصلاح مجلس الأمن لا يأخذ بعين الاعتبار التمثيل الملائم للأمة الإسلامية ضمن أية فئة من فئات العضوية في مجلس الأمن الموسع لن يحظى بالقبول لدى العالم الإسلامي.

9 - يؤكد أن إصلاح مجلس الأمن الدولي يجب أن يكون إصلاحاً شاملاً من جميع جوانبه، ويشدد على أهمية ترقية شفافية مجلس الأمن ومساءلته وديمقراطيته من خلال تحسين أساليب عمله وعملية اتخاذ القرار فيه، ويطالب بأن تكون للأمة الإسلامية تمثيلاً كافياً في أي فئة عضوية عند توسيع مجلس الأمن.
