The following are requirements derived from paragraph 40 of the CDM modalities and procedures:

1. The provisions of appendix D to the modalities and procedures for a clean development mechanism, contained in the annex to decision 3/CMP.1 (hereinafter referred to as the CDM modalities and procedures), shall apply mutatis mutandis to carbon dioxide capture and storage (CCS) project activities under the clean development mechanism (CDM).
1- تنطبق أحكام التذييل دال من الطرائق والإجراءات المتعلقة بآلية التنمية النظيفة، الواردة في مرفق المقرر 3/م أإ-1 (المشار إليها فيما يلي ﺑ " الطرائق والإجراءات المتعلقة بالآلية " )، مع إدخال التغييرات الضرورية، على أنشطة مشاريع احتجاز ثاني أكسيد الكربون وتخزينه في إطار آلية التنمية النظيفة.

Small-scale CDM project activities shall follow the stages of the project cycle specified in the modalities and procedures for a clean development mechanism contained in the annex to decision 17/CP.7 (hereinafter referred as the CDM modalities and procedures).
9- تتبع أنشطة المشاريع الصغيرة لآلية التنمية النظيفة مراحل دورة المشروع المبينة في طرائق وإجراءات الآلية الواردة في مرفق المقرر 17/م أ-7 (ويشار إليها فيما يلي بطرائق وإجراءات الآلية).
