The initiative, led by Switzerland, Costa Rica, Japan, Slovakia and Turkey and supported by the Center on Global Counterterrorism Cooperation, aimed to assess the overall contributions of the United Nations to the fight against terrorism and identify ways to make its institutions better able to support the implementation of the Global Strategy.
