كذلك ركز مشروع قانون الطفل 2006 على تفسير بعض المصطلحات القانونية إيماناً منه بأهمية التفسير للذين يطبقون القانون ومنعاً من أي لبس في المستقبل مثل تعريف الطفل المشرد والطفل الجندي والرعاية اللاحقة ودور الشباب واستغلال الأطفال في البغاء وفي المواد الإباحية والأطفال ذوي الاحتياجات.
