593 - عززت اللجنة التعاون فيما بين بلدان الجنوب في مجالات المياه والطاقة وتغير المناخ عن طريق تدشين المبادرة الإقليمية لتقييم تأثير تغير المناخ على الموارد المائية ومواطن الضعف الاجتماعي والاقتصادي في المنطقة العربية. وقد أسفرت المبادرة عن إعداد منهجية وخطة عمل لمواجهة تلك التحديات في المنطقة.

Initial actions addressing the adverse effects of climate change on water resources, agriculture and food security, economic activities and health, as well as on coastal zones, should focus on:
