9. States Parties that have reported cluster munition contaminated areas under their jurisdiction or control will:

Article 4.2(a) (obligation to survey and record cluster munition contaminated areas)
المادة 4-2 (أ) (الالتزام بمسح وتسجيل المناطق الملوثة بالذخائر العنقودية).

`Cluster munition contaminated area'means an area known or suspected to contain cluster munition remnants.
ويُقصد ﺑ `المنطقة الملوثة بالذخائر العنقودية` منطقةٌ يعرف أنها تحوي ذخائر عنقودية من مخلفات الحرب أو يشتبه في أنها تحوي هذه الذخائر.

1. Size and location of cluster munition contaminated area*
1- مساحة وموقع المنطقة الملوثة بالذخائر العنقودية*

11. " cluster munition contaminated area " means an area known or suspected to contain cluster munition remnants;
11 - يراد بتعبير ' ' المنطقة الملوثة بالذخائر العنقودية`` منطقة يعرف عنها، أو يشتبه في أنها تحتوي على مخلفات الذخائر العنقودية.

1. Each State Party undertakes to clear and destroy, or ensure the clearance and destruction of, cluster munition remnants located in cluster munition contaminated areas under its jurisdiction or control, as follows:
1 - تتعهد كل دولة طرف بإزالة وتدمير أو ضمان إزالة وتدمير مخلفات الذخائر العنقودية الواقعة في المناطق الملوثة بالذخائر العنقودية والمشمولة بولايتها أو الخاضعة لسيطرتها، وذلك على النحو التالي:

Signs and other hazardous area boundary markers should, as far as possible, be visible, legible, durable and resistant to environmental effects and should clearly identify which side of the marked boundary is considered to be within the cluster munition contaminated areas and which side is considered to be safe;
وينبغي، قدر الإمكان، أن تكون العلامات وغيرها من معالم حدود المناطق الخطرة مرئية ومقروءة ومتينة ومقاومة للآثار البيئية، وأن تحدد بوضوح أيَّ الجانبين من الحدود التي وضعت عليها علامات يعتبر داخل المناطق الملوثة بالذخائر العنقودية وأيهما هو الجانب الآمن منها.

Action #11 As soon as areas under its jurisdiction or control are known to be contaminated by cluster munition remnants, take all feasible measures to prevent further civilian casualties by effectively preventing unintentional civilian access to cluster munition contaminated areas.
القيام، حال معرفتها بأن مناطق مشمولة بولايتها أو خاضعة لسيطرتها ملوَّثة بمخلفات الذخائر العنقودية، باتخاذ جميع التدابير الممكنة لمنع حدوث مزيد من الإصابات بين المدنيين عن طريق منع المدنيين فعلياً من الوصول غير المقصود إلى المناطق الملوثة بالذخائر العنقودية.

(b) upon request by such a humanitarian mission or organization, provide, as far as feasible, information on the location of all cluster munition contaminated areas that it is aware of in territory where the requesting humanitarian mission or organization will operate or is operating.

10. States Parties that have reported cluster munition contaminated areas under their jurisdiction or control will:

(j) The measures taken to provide risk reduction education and, in particular, an immediate and effective warning to civilians living in cluster munition contaminated areas under its jurisdiction or control;
