37. Urges coastal States and States fishing on the high seas, in accordance with the Convention and the Agreement, to pursue cooperation in relation to straddling fish stocks and highly migratory fish stocks, either directly or through appropriate subregional or regional fisheries management organizations or arrangements, to ensure the effective conservation and management of such stocks;

1. coastal States and States fishing on the high seas shall, in accordance with the Convention, pursue cooperation in relation to straddling fish stocks and highly migratory fish stocks either directly or through appropriate subregional or regional fisheries management organizations or arrangements, taking into account the specific characteristics of the subregion or region, to ensure effective conservation and management of such stocks.
١ - تسعى الدول الساحلية والدول التي تمارس الصيد في أعالي البحار الى التعاون فيما بينها، وفقا للاتفاقية، فيما يتعلق باﻷرصدة السمكية المتداخلة المناطق واﻷرصدة السمكية الكثيرة الارتحال، إما مباشرة أو من خلال المنظمات أو الترتيبات اﻹقليمية ودون اﻹقليمية المختصة ﻹدارة مصائد اﻷسماك، آخذة في الاعتبار الخصائص المميزة للمنطقة دون اﻹقليمية أو المنطقة اﻹقليمية، لضمان حفظ وإدارة تلك اﻷرصدة بفعالية.

٠٢ - تتفق الدول الساحلية والدول التي تقوم بالصيد في أعالي البحار التي تشارك في منظمة أو ترتيب قائم على الصعيد دون الاقليمي أو اﻹقليمي ﻹدارة مصائد اﻷسماك على تدابير الحفظ والادارة وتمتثل لها لكفالة استدامة الرصيد )اﻷرصدة( ذات الصلة؛ ولهذه الغاية تقوم أيضا بما يلي:

18. coastal States and States fishing on the high seas which participate in a regional or subregional fisheries management organization or arrangement shall agree on and comply with conservation and management measures to ensure sustainability of the stock(s) in question. They shall also:
