As befits Papua New Guinea's status as a country which has become independent during the lifetime, and as a Member committed to the principles, of the United Nations, my Government strongly supports United Nations efforts to eradicate the last vestiges of colonialism by the year 2000.
ومما يتناسب مع مركز بابوا غينيا الجديدة كبلد أصبح مستقلا وكعضو ملتزم بمبادئ اﻷمم المتحدة، أن حكومتي تؤيد بشدة جهود اﻷمم المتحدة ﻹنهاء آخر مظاهر الاستعمار بحلول عام ٢٠٠٠.

Conscious of the need to ensure the full and speedy implementation of the Declaration in respect of those Territories, in view of the target set by the United Nations to eradicate colonialism by the year 2000,
وإذ تعي ضرورة ضمان تنفيذ اﻹعلان على الوجه التام والسريع فيما يتعلق بتلك اﻷقاليم، بالنظر الى الهدف الذي حددته اﻷمم المتحدة للقضاء على الاستعمار بحلول عام ٢٠٠٠،

Conscious of the need to ensure the full and speedy implementation of the Declaration in respect of those Territories, in view of the target set by the United Nations to eradicate colonialism by the year 2000,
ووعيا منها بضرورة ضمان تنفيذ اﻹعلان على الوجه التام والسريع فيما يتعلق بتلك اﻷقاليم، بالنظر الى الهدف الذي حددته اﻷمم المتحدة للقضاء على الاستعمار بحلول عام ٢٠٠٠،

9. Stresses that the eradication of colonialism by the year 2000 requires the full and constructive cooperation of all parties concerned;
٩ - تشدد على أن القضاء على الاستعمار بحلول عام ٢٠٠٠ يتطلب التعاون الكامل والبنﱠاء من جانب جميع اﻷطراف المعنية؛

This seminar is one of the activities mandated by the General Assembly as part of its plan of action to eradicate colonialism by the year 2000.
وهذه الحلقة هي نشاط من اﻷنشطة التي صدرت بها ولاية من الجمعية العامة كجزء من خطتها للعمل من أجل القضاء على الاستعمار بحلول عام ٢٠٠٠.
