وفي هذا الصدد، لا بد أن أوجه انتباهكم إلى الأعمال غير القانونية الوحشية التالية التي ارتكبها المستوطنون الإسرائيليون ضد المدنيين الفلسطينيين وممتلكاتهم في الفترة الزمنية الحالية:

1. The Committee expresses its shock at the appalling massacre committed by Israeli settlers against Palestinian worshippers in the Abraham Mosque at Hebron on 25 February 1994.
١ - تعرب اللجنة عن شعورها بالصدمة من جراء المذبحة المروعة التي ارتكبها مستوطنون إسرائيليون ضد المصلين الفلسطينيين في المسجد اﻹبراهيمي في الخليل في ٢٥ شباط/فبراير ١٩٩٤.

39. Lack of accountability permeates all types of acts of violence committed by Israeli settlers against property and persons.
39 - والواقع أن انعدام المساءلة يُطلق العنان للمستوطنين الإسرائيليين لارتكاب أعمال عُنف شتى ضد الممتلكات والأشخاص.

19. In addition to causing direct physical injury, acts of violence committed by Israeli settlers have a significant impact on the right of Palestinians to access land and productive resources.
19 - علاوة على التسبب في الإصابات البدنية المباشرة، ينتج عن أعمال العنف التي يرتكبها المستوطنون الإسرائيليون أثرا بالغا على حق الفلسطينيين في الوصول إلى الأراضي والموارد الإنتاجية.

12. As stated by the Secretary-General in a previous report to the General Assembly (A/66/364), settlement activity and the violence committed by Israeli settlers are linked to most of the human rights violations against Palestinians in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
12 - وعلى نحو ما ذكره الأمين العام في تقرير سابق قدمّه إلى الجمعية العامة (A/66/364)، يرتبط النشاط الاستيطاني وأعمال العنف التي يرتكبها المستوطنون الإسرائيليون بمعظم انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان المرتكبة ضد الفلسطينيين في الضفة الغربية، بما فيها القدس الشرقية.
