فالمادة ٣ المشتركة في اتفاقيات جنيف اﻷربع لعام ٩٤٩١ تذكر شيئا عن حماية البيئة أثناء الحرب اﻷهلية. وهي لا تتناول إلا المسائل الانسانية بأضيق معنى.
