The State party should make sure that all places of detention are under the control of the civil prison authorities and the prosecutor's office, ensure compliance with all the provisions of article 9 of the Covenant and establish a national register of detention centres and persons in detention, which is accessible, in particular, to the families and lawyers of detainees and specifies, inter alia, the authority responsible for detention.

I should like to highlight a few changes made during recent consultations. “All” has been removed from the middle of paragraph 2, because it was stressed that the OPCW is not verifying compliance with all the provisions of the Convention, since not all of them are verifiable.
وأود أن أبــرز تغييــرات قليلــة أجريت خلال المشاورات اﻷخيرة. فقـد حذفت كلمــة " جميــع " من منتصف الفقرة ٢ ﻷنه تم التأكيد على أن البروتوكول الاختياري لاتفاقية اﻷسلحة الكيميائية لا يحقق الامتثال لجميع أحكام الاتفاقية ﻷن هذه اﻷحكام ليست كلها قابلــة للتحقــق.

10 - وفي سياق إقرار جدول الأعمال، اعتمدت اللجنة القرار التالي: ' ' تقرر اللجنة أنها تفهم أن الإشارة في جدول الأعمال إلى ' إعادة تأكيد الحاجة إلى الامتثال التام للمعاهدة` تعني أن اللجنة ستنظر في الامتثال لجميع أحكام المعاهدة``.

Since the Preparatory Committee " decides that it understands the reference in the agenda to `reaffirming the need for full compliance with the Treaty'to mean that it will consider compliance with all the provisions of the Treaty " , the Islamic Republic of Iran would like to elaborate its views on this issue as follows:
بما أن اللجنة التحضيرية " تقرر أنها تفهم أن الإشارة في جدول الأعمال إلى " إعادة تأكيد الحاجة إلى الامتثال التام للمعاهدة " تعني أنها ستنظر في الامتثال لجميع أحكام المعاهدة، فإن جمهورية إيران الإسلامية توّد أن تعرض وجهات نظرها بشأن هذه المسألة على النحو التالي:

Since the Preparatory Committee " decides that it understands the reference in the agenda to " reaffirming the need for full compliance with the Treaty " to mean that it will consider compliance with all the provisions of the Treaty, the Islamic Republic of Iran would like to elaborate its views on this issue as the following:
بالنظر إلى أن اللجنة التحضيرية " تقرر أنها تفهم أن الإشارة في جدول الأعمال إلى `إعادة تأكيد الحاجة إلى الامتثال التام للمعاهدة` تعني أن اللجنة ستنظر في الامتثال لجميع أحكام المعاهدة " ، تود جمهورية إيران الإسلامية أن توضح آراءها بشأن هذه المسألة على النحو التالي:

39. Cuba reiterates its willingness to work together with the other States parties to the Treaty, particularly those belonging to the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries, to achieve compliance with all the provisions of this legal instrument and thereby contribute to the international community's efforts in favour of peace, security and a world free from nuclear weapons and the enormous danger that their mere existence represents.
39 - وتكرر كوبا استعدادها للعمل بصورة مشتركة مع باقي الدول الأطراف في المعاهدة، لا سيما مع أعضاء حركة بلدان عدم الانحياز، بغرض تحقيق الامتثال لجميع أحكام هذا الصك القانوني، والإسهام بهذه الوسيلة في الجهود التي يبذلها المجتمع الدولي لصالح السلام والأمن والوصول إلى عالم خال من الأسلحة النووية والخطر الهائل الذي يمثله مجرد وجودها.

8 - وفي ما يتصل بإقرار جدول الأعمال، اتخذت اللجنة المقرر التالي: " تقرر اللجنة أن ما تفهمه من الإشارة في جدول الأعمال إلى ' إعادة تأكيد ضرورة الامتثال التام للمعاهدة(1) هو أنها ستنظر في الامتثال لجميع أحكام المعاهدة " .
