It made an Order on the second request by Bosnia and Herzegovina for the indication of provisional measures and on a similar request by Yugoslavia in the case concerning Application of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (Bosnia and Herzegovina v. Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro) (I.C.J. Reports 1993, p. 325).

26. The Vice-President of the Court made an Order extending time-limits in the case concerning Application of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (Bosnia and Herzegovina v. Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro) (I.C.J. Reports 1993, p. 470).

81. In the case concerning Application of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (Bosnia and Herzegovina v. Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro)) the President of the Court, in March, made an Order extending the time-limit for the filing of the counter-memorial of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro).

The International Court of Justice had also had occasion to rule on the existence of the express or implicit consent of the respondent State to its jurisdiction, most recently in its Judgment of 11 July 1996, in the case concerning Application of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (Bosnia and Herzegovina v. Yugoslavia).
