In my capacity as Chairman of the Arab Group for the month of September 1996, I have the honour to transmit to you herewith a copy of resolution 5595 dated 15 September 1996, adopted by the Council of the League of Arab States at its 106th ordinary session, concerning the occupation by Iran of the Arab islands belonging to the United Arab Emirates in the Arabian Gulf.
بصفتي رئيس المجموعة العربية لشهر أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٦، أتشرف بأن أرفق طيه القرار رقم ٥٥٩٥ لمجلس جامعة الدول العربية في دورته ١٠٦ والصادر بتاريخ ١٥ أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٦ بشأن احتلال إيران للجزر العربية التابعة لدولة اﻹمارات العربية المتحدة في الخليج العربي.

Reaffirming the resolutions adopted in the inter-Arab and pan-Islamic contexts concerning the occupation by Iran of the three Arab islands belonging to the United Arab Emirates in the Arabian Gulf, namely the Greater Tunb, the Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa, And inasmuch as the three islands are occupied Arab territory,

I have the honour to transmit herewith resolution 7165, adopted by the Council of the League of Arab States at its 133rd ordinary session, held at the ministerial level on 3 March 2010, in Cairo, concerning the occupation by Iran of the three Arab islands in the Arabian Gulf belonging to the United Arab Emirates: the Greater Tunb, the Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa (see annex).

I have the honour to transmit herewith decision 460, adopted by the Council of the League of Arab States at its meeting held at the summit level during its twenty-first regular session (Doha, 29-30 March 2009) concerning the occupation by Iran of the three Arab islands in the Arabian Gulf belonging to the United Arab Emirates: the Greater Tunb, the Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa (see annex).
