Paragraph 19, " Confidentiality of data, " of the terms of reference of the Persistent Organic Pollutants Review Committee, adopted by the Conference of the Parties in its decision SC-1/7, reads as follows:
1 - تنص الفقرة 19 من اختصاصات لجنة استعراض الملوثات العضوية الثابتة المعنونة " سرية البيانات " التي اعتمدها مؤتمر الأطراف في مقرره اتفاقية استكهولم - 1/7 على ما يلي:

22- ورحّب مؤتمر الأطراف في مقرره 3/2 أيضا بالعمل التمهيدي الذي قام به المكتب لاستحداث أداة لكتابة طلبات تسليم المجرمين.

As decided by the Conference of the Parties in its decision VI/36, the second session of the Open-ended Working Group focused on legal and implementation issues.
15 - وتبعاً لما قرره مؤتمر الأطراف في مقرره 6/36، فقد تركزت الدورة الثانية للفريق العامل مفتوح العضوية على القضايا القانونية وقضايا التنفيذ.

The present report is focused on the activities undertaken by the secretariat in response to the request by the Conference of the Parties in its decision RC2/4 and contains three chapters.
ويركز هذا التقرير على الأنشطة التي نفذتها الأمانة استجابة لطلب مؤتمر الأطراف في مقرره اتفاقية روتردام - 2/4 ويتضمن ثلاثة فصول.

The Open-ended Working Group may wish to consider whether the mandate of the small intersessional working group should be extended further and whether the tasks included in the work programme approved by the third session of the Open-ended Working Group should be completed, having regard to the request of the Conference of the Parties in its decision VII/26.
14 - وقد يرغب الفريق العامل مفتوح العضوية في أن ينظر فيما إذا كان ينبغي مد ولاية الفريق العامل الصغير لما بين الدورات لفترة أطول وما إذا كانت ينبغي الانتهاء من المهام المتضمنة ببرنامج العمل المعتمد من قبل الدورة الثالثة للفريق العامل مفتوح العضوية، مع مراعاة طلب مؤتمر الأطراف في مقرره 7/26.

A preliminary draft of a study on the examination of article 14 of the Basel Convention, prepared by the Secretariat pursuant to the request by the Conference of the Parties in its decision VII/40, is being circulated to the Open-ended Working Group.
26 - يجري تعميم مشروع تمهيدي لدراسة بشأن فحص المادة 14 من اتفاقية بازل، أعدته الأمانة استجابة لطلب مؤتمر الأطراف في مقرره 7/40، على الفريق العامل مفتوح العضوية.

The Trust Fund was initially established in February 2003 with a five-year term ending on 31 December 2007, and upon the request of the Conference of the Parties in its decision VII/2, UNEP extended the life of the Trust Fund to 31 December 2015.
5 - وقد أنشئ الصندوق الاستئماني في نهاية شباط/فبراير 2003 لمدة خمس سنوات تنتهي في 31 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2007، وبناء على طلب مؤتمر الأطراف في مقرره 7/2، مدد برنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة فترة الصندوق الاستئماني حتى 31 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2015.

3 - وقد اعتمد مؤتمر الأطراف بموجب مقرر اتفاقية استكهولم - 1/11 مذكرة التفاهم بين مؤتمر الأطراف ومجلس مرفق البيئة العالمية، المبينة في مرفق ذلك المقرر، كما رحّب بموجب مقرر اتفاقية استكهولم - 2/10 بموافقة مجلس مرفق البيئة العالمية عليها، وأحاط علماً بأن المذكرة دخلت حيز النفاذ في 10 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2005.
