In accordance with article 20, paragraph 1, of the Convention and rule 76 of its rules of procedure, the Committee requested the Government of Mexico to cooperate in the examination of, and comment on the information in question.

12. Under article 6 of the Optional Protocol, if the Committee received reliable information indicating grave or systematic violations by a State party of rights set forth in the Convention, the Committee would invite that State party to cooperate in the examination of the information.
12 - إذا تلقت اللجنة، بموجب المادة 6 من البروتوكول الاختياري، معلومات موثوقا بها تدل على وقوع انتهاكات جسيمة أو منتظمة من جانب دولة طرف للحقوق المنصوص عليها في الاتفاقية، تدعو اللجنة تلك الدولة الطرف إلى التعاون في فحص المعلومات.

99. In four cases decided during the period under review, the Committee noted that the State party had failed to cooperate in the examination of the author's allegations.
99- وفي أربعة بلاغات بتّت فيها اللجنة في الفترة قيد الاستعراض، لاحظت أن الدولة الطرف المعنية لم تتعاون في دراسة مزاعم أصحاب البلاغات.

“1. In accordance with this article, if the Committee receives information which appears to contain well-founded indications that torture is being systematically practised in the territory of a State party, it shall invite the State party to cooperate in the examination of the information and, if warranted, assign members to undertake a confidential inquiry.

66. In accordance with article 20, paragraph 1, of the Convention, if the Committee receives reliable information which appears to contain wellfounded indications that torture is being systematically practised in the territory of a State party, the Committee shall invite that State party to cooperate in the examination of the information and, to this end, to submit observations with regard to the information concerned.

Art. 8.1: If the Committee receives reliable information indicating grave or systematic violations by a State Party of rights set forth in the Convention, the Committee shall invite that State Party to cooperate in the examination of the information and to this end to submit observations with regard to the information concerned.

If the Committee receives reliable information indicating grave or systematic violations by a State Party of any of the economic, social and cultural rights set forth in the Covenant, the Committee shall invite that State Party to cooperate in the examination of the information and to this end to submit observations with regard to the information concerned.
2- إذا تلقت اللجنة معلومات موثوقة تدل على وقوع انتهاكات جسيمة أو منتظمة من جانب دولة طرف لأي من الحقوق الاقتصادية أو الاجتماعية أو الثقافية المنصوص عليها في العهد، تدعو اللجنة تلك الدولة الطرف إلى التعاون في فحص المعلومات وإلى تقديم ملاحظاتها بشأن هذه المعلومات.

2. If the Committee receives reliable information indicating grave or systematic violations by a State Party of the rights set forth in Parts II and III of the Covenant, the Committee shall invite that State Party to cooperate in the examination of the information and to this end to submit observations with regard to the information concerned.

87- وفي خمسة قضايا نظرت فيها اللجنة في الفترة قيد الاستعراض، لاحظت اللجنة أن الدولة الطرف المعنية لم تتعاون في دراسة ادعاءات أصحاب البلاغات.
