4. Calls upon all States parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, and in particular the nuclear-weapon States, to extend their cooperation and to exert their utmost efforts with a view to ensuring the early and successful establishment of a Middle East free of nuclear and all other weapons of mass destruction and their delivery system;
٤ - يطلب الى جميع الدول اﻷطراف في معاهدة عدم انتشار اﻷسلحة النووية، وخاصة الدول الحائزة لﻷسلحة النووية، أن تمد يــد التعاون وأن تبذل قصاراها من أجل كفالة القيام على نحو مبكر وناجح بانشاء منطقة خالية من اﻷسلحة النووية وسائر أسلحة الدمار الشامل وأجهزة نقلها، وذلك في الشرق اﻷوسط؛

I urge all Lebanese leaders to approach this process in a spirit of cooperation and to exert every effort towards a positive outcome.
وأحث كل الزعماء اللبنانيين على التعاطي مع هذه العملية بروح التعاون وبذل كل الجهود من أجل الخروج بنتيجة إيجابية.

In this context, I urge all Lebanese leaders to continue to approach this process in a spirit of cooperation and to exert every effort towards one goal: all arms in Lebanon must be brought under the sole and unique control of the Government of Lebanon.
وفي هذا السياق، أحث جميع الزعماء اللبنانيين على الاستمرار في مقاربة هذه العملية بروح من التعاون وبذل كل ما يلزم من جهود بغية تحقيق هدف واحد هو: وجوب خضوع جميع الأسلحة التي تُجلَب إلى لبنان إلى سيطرة الحكومة اللبنانية دون سواها.

Recalling paragraph 6 of the 1995 Resolution on the Middle East, the Conference reiterates the appeal to all States parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons to extend their cooperation and to exert their utmost efforts with a view to ensuring the early establishment by regional parties of a Middle East zone free of nuclear and all other weapons of mass destruction and their delivery systems.

45. The States Parties reaffirm once again, their determination to extend their fullest cooperation and to exert their utmost efforts with a view to ensuring the early establishment in the Middle East a zone free of nuclear as well as all other weapons of mass destruction and their delivery systems.
45 - وتؤكد الدول الأطراف مجددا عزمها على إبداء أكبر قدر من التعاون وأن تبذل أقصى ما في وسعها بغية كفالة إنشاء منطقة خالية من الأسلحة النووية في الشرق الأوسط ومن جميع ما عداها من أسلحة التدمير الشامل وأنظمة إيصالها.

كما أن المؤتمر " يطلب إلى جميع الدول اﻷطراف في معاهدة عدم انتشار اﻷسلحة النووية، وبخاصة الدول الحائزة لﻷسلحة النووية، أن تمد يد التعاون وأن تبذل قصارى جهدها من أجل كفالة قيام اﻷطراف الاقليمية، في وقت مبكر، بإنشاء منطقة في الشرق اﻷوسط خالية من اﻷسلحة النووية وسائر أسلحة الدمار الشامل اﻷخرى ومنظومات إيصالها " .

I therefore urge all Lebanese leaders to approach this process in a spirit of cooperation and to exert every effort towards a positive and concrete outcome that formalizes the Government of Lebanon's monopoly over the use of force within the country's boundaries and generates progress towards the disarmament of all Lebanese and non-Lebanese militias consistent with Security Council resolutions and the Taif Agreement.
لذا، فإني أحث الزعماء اللبنانيين على مقاربة هذه العملية بروح من التعاون وبذل كل ما يلزم من جهود لتحقيق نتائج إيجابية وملموسة منها، تضفي طابعا رسميا على حصر استخدام القوة داخل حدود البلد في يد الحكومة وتحرز تقدما على صعيد نزع سلاح جميع الميليشيات اللبنانية وغير اللبنانية بما يتماشى وقرارات مجلس الأمن واتفاق الطائف.

The Council decision also called upon all States parties to NPT, in particular the nuclear-weapon States parties, to extend their cooperation and to exert their utmost efforts towards the establishment by regional parties of an effectively verifiable Middle East zone free of nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction and their delivery systems, in keeping with the 1995 resolution on the Middle East.
ودعا قرار المجلس أيضا جميع الدول الأطراف في معاهدة عدم انتشار الأسلحة النووية، ولا سيما الدول الأطراف الحائزة للأسلحة النووية، إلى مد يد التعاون وبذل قصارى الجهود من أجل قيام الأطراف الإقليمية بإنشاء منطقة خالية من الأسلحة النووية وغيرها من أسلحة الدمار الشامل ووسائل إيصالها في الشرق الأوسط يمكن التحقق منها فعلياً، وذلك تمشياً مع القرار الصادر عام 1995 بشأن الشرق الأوسط.
