12. In a review of the evaluation capacity and practices of every entity in the United Nations Secretariat, the Office of Internal Oversight Services concluded that UNCTAD had all the components and practices in place for the conduct of credible and reliable evaluation.

In lieu of " verification " of allegations, the Special Rapporteur was engaged in " Collection " of allegations, and instead of seeking information from " credible and reliable " sources, as requested in resolution 1993/60, he has been seeking information from whatever available source, without even taking the trouble of commenting on the credibility and reliability of his sources.

Recognizes, in this regard, the need for the collection, protection and management of credible and reliable data on missing persons according to international and national legal norms and standards, and urges States to cooperate with each other and with other concerned actors working in this area, inter alia, by providing all relevant and appropriate information related to missing persons;
