The Forum was organized into six sessions, in which a total of 25 presentations were given on various topics, including transnational organized crime and its countermeasures, recent trends in international criminal justice policies, and measures to reinforce mutual legal assistance among North-East Asian countries.
وقد نُظِّم المنتدى في ست جلسات، قدِّم فيها ما مجمله 25 عرضًا إيضاحيًا في موضوعات متنوعة، بما في ذلك الجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية وتدابير مكافحتها، والاتجاهات الحديثة في سياسات العدالة الجنائية الدولية، وتدابير تعزيز المساعدة القانونية المتبادلة فيما بين بلدان شمال شرق آسيا.

It was noted that such problems were linked to criminal justice policies that relied heavily on incarceration and long-term sentences.
ولوحظ أن هذه المشاكل مرتبطة بسياسات العدالة الجنائية التي تعتمد بشدة على الاحتجاز والعقوبات السجنية الطويلة الأمد.

The Meeting stressed that a crucial factor for the efficiency and effectiveness of law enforcement and criminal justice policies was inter-agency coordination.
