On the occasion of the 2011 International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Department had organized two panel discussions, in which stakeholders in disability statistics had participated, on the themes " Towards inclusive development: improving data and statistics on disability " and " Mainstreaming disability in the global development agenda: experience in other development issues " , respectively.
