The UN General Assembly, in the Declaration to Supplement the 1994 Declaration on Measures to Eliminate International Terrorism (UNGA Res. 51/210), has confirmed that acts of terrorism, knowingly financing, planning or inciting terrorist acts, are contrary to the purposes and principles of the United Nations.
وقد أكدت الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، في الإعلان المكمل لإعلان عام 1994 المتعلق بالتدابير الرامية إلى القضاء على الإرهاب الدولي (قرار الجمعية العامة 51/210)، أن أعمال الإرهاب، والقيام عن علم بتمويل الأعمال الإرهابية والتخطيط لها والتحريض عليها، تتنافى مع مقاصد الأمم المتحدة ومبادئها.

Recalling further the Declaration on Measures to Eliminate International Terrorism, contained in the annex to General Assembly resolution 49/60 of 9 December 1994, and welcoming the celebration this year of the tenth anniversary of its adoption, and recalling the Declaration to Supplement the 1994 Declaration on Measures to Eliminate International Terrorism, contained in the annex to resolution 51/210 of 17 December 1996,
وإذ تشير كذلك إلى الإعلان المتعلق بالتدابير الرامية إلى القضاء على الإرهاب الدولي، الوارد في مرفق قرار الجمعية العامة 49/60 المؤرخ 9 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1994، وإذ ترحب بالاحتفال في هذه السنة بالذكرى السنوية العاشرة لاعتماده، وإذ تشير إلى الإعلان المكمل لإعلان 1994 المتعلق بالتدابير الرامية إلى القضاء على الإرهاب الدولي، الوارد في مرفق القرار 51/210 المؤرخ 17 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1996،
