بيد أن الجمعية العامة، في الفقرة ٦ من منطوق القرار ذاته، تعلن عن استعدادها لاستئناف النظر في هذا البند حسب الاقتضاء قبل انعقاد دورتها الحادية والخمسين، مـــــن أجل إقرار نص معاهدة للحظر الشامل للتجارب النووية.
