The Constitution of the Republic of Yemen enshrines the principles of democracy and political pluralism and the State takes a positive approach to new human rights concepts in general and to children's right in particular, given that children are a part of the present and every part of the future.

Welcomes the agreement reached at Brasilia to encourage democracy and political pluralism and, in accordance with the Vienna Declaration and Programme of Action adopted by the World Conference on Human Rights on 25 June 1993, 2/ to promote and defend human rights and fundamental freedoms and also to cooperate towards the achievement of those goals;
٤ - ترحب بالاتفاق الذي تم التوصل إليه في برازيليا لتشجيع الديمقراطية والتعددية السياسية وكذلك، وفقـا ﻹعـلان وبرنامـج عمل فيينا اللذين اعتمدهما المؤتمر العالمي لحقوق اﻹنسان في ٥٢ حزيران/ يونيه ٣٩٩١)٢(، لتعزيز حقوق اﻹنسان والحريات اﻷساسية والدفاع عنها وأيضا للتعاون في سبيل تحقيق هذه اﻷهداف؛

11.
