12. With regard to education, UNESCO is planning, in collaboration with the UNCCD secretariat, to prepare environmental education kits on combating desertification for primary school children, especially in desertification-affected countries.
12- وفيما يتعلق بالتربية تخطط اليونسكو، بالتعاون مع أمانة اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة التصحر، لإعداد مجموعة مواد تربوية بيئية حول مكافحة التصحر لأطفال المدارس الابتدائية، خصوصاً في البلدان المتأثرة بالتصحر.

64. Some countries have recognized the need for mainstreaming the NAP into the PRSP and have begun the process, thereby providing some early lessons learned for others. The mainstreaming of NAPs stems mainly from practical issues encountered by desertification-affected countries in implementing their NAPs.
64- وأقرت بعض البلدان بضرورة إدماج خطة العمل الوطنية في ورقة استراتيجية الحد من الفقر وشرعت في هذه العملية، مما يقدم مبكراً للغير بعض العِبَر المستخلصة والسبب في إدماج خطط العمل الوطنية يعود أساساً إلى بعض المشاكل العملية التي صادفتها البلدان المتأثرة بالتصحر في تنفيذ خطط عملها الوطنية.

A partnership comprising all relevant United Nations entities, the World Bank and other stakeholders, including the private sector, civil society organizations (CSOs) and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) would improve current land management standards in desertification-affected countries.
45- ومن شأن شراكة تضم جميع كيانات الأمم المتحدة المعنية والبنك الدولي وغيره من أصحاب المصلحة، بما في ذلك القطاع الخاص ومنظمات المجتمع المدني والمنظمات غير الحكومية، أن تحسن المعايير الحالية لإدارة الأراضي في البلدان المتأثرة بالتصحر.

Acknowledgement that desertification-affected dryland dwellers must be at the centre of any remediation and engagement, and enabling of communities leading to effective stewardship should remain at the heart of policy formulation (Algiers);
(ب) الاعتراف بضرورة أن يكون سكان المناطق الجافة المتأثرة بالتصحر في محور جميع عمليات الاستصلاح والالتزام، وضرورة إبقاء موضوع تمكين المجتمعات المفضي إلى الإشراف الفعال، في قلب عملية صياغة السياسات (الجزائر)؛

13. Community participation in formulation of policies relevant to sustainable land management and livelihoods in desertification-affected areas remains vital for their practicability and successful implementation.
13 - وتبقى مشاركة المجتمعات المحلية في صياغة السياسات ذات الصلة بالإدارة المستدامة للأراضي وأسباب المعيشة في المناطق المتضررة من التصحر أمرا حيويا من أجل إمكاناتها العملية وتنفيذها الناجح.

17. Evidence from a growing body of case studies demonstrates that the adoption of sustainable agricultural technologies and practices has increased soil productivity in desertification-affected drylands.
