7. Article 5 of the Convention draws attention to the States parties' obligation " to destroy or ensure the destruction of all anti-personnel mines in mined areas under its jurisdiction or control " (emphasis added).
7- وتوجه المادة 5 من الاتفاقية الانتباه إلى تعهد الدول الأطراف " بتدمير أو ضمان تدمير كل مخزون الألغام المضادة للأفراد في المناطق الملغومة التي تكون خاضعة لولايتها أو سيطرتها " (أضيف التشديد).

The analysing group noted that the emplacement of a border security system as mentioned in Jordan's request is not related to the obligation to destroy or ensure the destruction of all anti-personnel mines in mined areas as soon as possible.
9- ولاحظت المجموعة المحللة أن وضع نظام لأمن الحدود على النحو المشار إليه في طلب الأردن غير مرتبط بالالتزام بتدمير أو ضمان تدمير كل الألغام المضادة للأفراد في المناطق الملغومة في أقرب وقت ممكن.

(b) To destroy or ensure the destruction of all cluster munitions under its jurisdiction and control that do not meet the standards provided for in Article 4 (2), as soon as feasible after the entry into force of this Protocol, starting no later than:
(ب) تدمير أو ضمان تدمير كافة الذخائر العنقودية التي لا تفي بالمعايير المنصوص عليها في المادة 4(2)، والخاضعة لولايته وسيطرته، وذلك في أقرب وقت ممكن عملياً بعد بدء سريان هذا البروتوكول، على أن يبدأ ذلك في موعد لا يتجاوز:

1. Pursuant to article 5.1, each State Party " undertakes to destroy or ensure the destruction of all anti-personnel mines in mined areas under its jurisdiction or control, as soon as possible but not later than ten years after the entry into force of this Convention for that State Party " .
1- عملاً بالمادة 5-1، تتعهد كل دولة طرف " بتدمير أو ضمان تدمير كل الألغام المضادة للأفراد في المناطق الملغومة المشمولة بولايتها أو الخاضعة لسيطرتها، في أقرب وقت ممكن، على ألا يتعدى ذلك عشر سنوات من بدء نفاذ الاتفاقية بالنسبة إلى تلك الدولة الطرف " .

In accordance with Article 5, paragraph 1, of the Convention, Serbia has an obligation to destroy or ensure the destruction of all anti-personnel mines in mined areas under its jurisdiction or control, as soon as possible, but not later than ten years after the entry into force of the Convention (1 March 2014).

In accordance with Article 5, paragraph 1 of the Convention, Cyprus is obliged " to destroy or ensure the destruction of all anti-personnel mines in mined areas under its jurisdiction or control as soon as possible but not later than (1 July 2013) " .

This indication is translated into action in Article 4, which states that " except as provided for in Article 3, each State Party undertakes to destroy or ensure the destruction of all stockpiled anti-personnel mines it owns or possesses, or that are under its jurisdiction or control, as soon as possible but not later than four years after the entry into force of this Convention for that State Party. "
