Member States should be encouraged, as part of the follow-up to the outcome of the High-level Plenary Meeting of the General Assembly, to continue, with renewed determination and commitment and in a spirit of global partnership and solidarity, a high-level political debate on funding issues and modalities to effectively strengthen the development cooperation activities of the United Nations system.
