7. Some delegations expressed the view that responses to the questionnaire would provide useful information for the future development of international space law and a consolidation of the divergent positions of States on that issue.
7- وأعرب بعض الوفود عن رأي مفاده أن الردود على الاستبيان ستوفّر معلومات مفيدة لتطوير قانون الفضاء الدولي مستقبلا ولتوحيد المواقف المتباينة التي تتخذها الدول بشأن تلك المسألة.

٢ - يُعلن ويؤكد من جديد أهمية مواصلة إحراز تقدم في إعداد القواعد التي ستسهم في تطوير القانون الدولي للفضاء.

The Committee agreed that it had responsibilities relating to strengthening the international basis for the peaceful exploration and uses of outer space, which could cover, among other things, the further development of international space law, including, as appropriate, the preparation of international agreements governing various practical peaceful applications of space science and technology.
19- واتفقت اللجنة على أن عليها مسؤوليات فيما يتعلق بدعم الأساس الدولي لاستكشاف الفضاء الخارجي واستخدامه في الأغراض السلمية، وهذا يمكن أن يشمل، ضمن أمور أخرى، تطوير القانون الدولي للفضاء بما في ذلك، وحيثما يكون مناسبا، اعداد اتفاقات دولية تحكم مختلف التطبيقات السلمية العملية لعلوم وتكنولوجيا الفضاء.

The Subcommittee observed a minute of silence to mark the recent passing of Vladimír Kopal of the Czech Republic, who had been a longstanding contributor to the work of the Committee and to the development of international space law.
20- والتزمت اللجنة الفرعية دقيقة صمت حداداً على وفاة فلاديمير كوبال، من الجمهورية التشيكية، الذي كان قد ساهم على مدى فترة طويلة في أعمال اللجنة وفي تطوير القانون الدولي للفضاء.

Member States must continue to support the Committee in its efforts to strengthen international cooperation for the peaceful use of outer space, including through further development of international space law.
ولا بد للدول الأعضاء من أن تواصل دعم ما تبذله اللجنة من جهود في سبيل تعزيز التعاون الدولي في ميدان الغزو السلمي للفضاء الخارجي، بما يشمل زيادة تطوير قانون الفضاء الدولي.

13. The United Nations played an important role in encouraging the development of international space law by elaborating general principles and conclusions with the binding force of legal instruments.
13 - وذكر أن الأمم المتحدة تضطلع بدور هام في تشجيع تطوير قانون الفضاء الدولي وذلك بإعداد مبادئ واستنتاجات عامة تكون لها القوة الملزمة للصكوك القانونية.

11. All the countries he represented were fully convinced that UNISPACE III would provide a means of determining practical forms of international cooperation taking into account the recent trends in the development of international space law.
١١ - ومضى يقول إن جميع البلدان التي يمثلها على اقتناع تام بأن مؤتمر الفضاء الثالث يوفر وسيلة لتحديد اﻷشكال العملية للتعاون الدولي مع مراعاة الاتجاهات الحديثة في تطوير قانون الفضاء الدولي.

That decision had been taken in the light of Ecuador's serious and responsible approach to the use of outer space and in recognition of its contribution to the development of international space law.
وقد اتُخذ هذا القرار على ضوء النهج الجاد والمسؤول الذي تنتهجه إكوادور إزاء استخدام الفضاء الخارجي واعترافا بمساهمتها في تطوير قانون الفضاء الدولي.

3.5 A major objective of the subprogramme will be to provide Member States and space-related governmental and non-governmental organizations with information, expertise and other requirements necessary for expanding international cooperation in the peaceful uses of outer space and contributing to the development of international space law.
٣-٥ سيكون من اﻷهداف الرئيسية لهذا البرنامج الفرعي تزويد الدول اﻷعضاء والمنظمات الحكومية وغير الحكومية ذات الصلة بالفضاء بالمعلومات والخبرة وسائر الاحتياجات اللازمة لتوسيع التعاون الدولي في استخدام الفضاء الخارجي في اﻷغراض السلمية والاسهام في تنمية قانون الفضاء الدولي.
