The members of the Council will continue to follow closely the situation in El Salvador and request you to keep them informed on developments on this matter.

The Committee wishes to encourage the State party to take the necessary steps for withdrawing its reservation to the Convention in the very near future and would like to be kept informed of developments on this matter.
