5. For the purpose of paragraph 4 of this article, the Conference of the States Parties shall acquire the necessary knowledge of the measures taken by States Parties in implementing this Convention and the difficulties encountered by them in doing so through information provided by them and through such supplemental review mechanisms as may be established by the Conference of the States Parties.
5- لأغراض الفقرة 4 من هذه المادة، يكتسب مؤتمر الدول الأطراف المعرفة اللازمة بالتدابير التي تتخذها الدول الأطراف لتنفيذ هذه الاتفاقية، والصعوبات التي تواجهها في ذلك، من خلال المعلومات التي تقدمها تلك الدول ومن خلال ما قد ينشئه مؤتمر الدول الأطراف من آليات استعراض تكميلية.

5. For the purpose of paragraph 4 of this article, the Conference of the States Parties shall acquire the necessary knowledge of the measures taken by States Parties in implementing this Convention and the difficulties encountered by them in doing so through information provided by them and through such supplemental review mechanisms as may be established by the Conference of the States Parties.
5- لأغراض الفقرة 4 من هذه المادة، يحصل مؤتمر الدول الأطراف على المعرفة اللازمة بالتدابير التي تتخذها الدول الأطراف لتنفيذ هذه الاتفاقية، والصعوبات التي تواجهها في ذلك، من خلال المعلومات التي تقدمها تلك الدول ومن خلال ما قد ينشئه مؤتمر الدول الأطراف من آليات استعراض تكميلية.

Article 32 of the Convention provides that the Conference shall acquire the necessary knowledge of the measures taken by parties in implementing the Convention and the difficulties encountered by them in doing so, for the purpose of reviewing implementation of the Convention and making recommendations to improve the Convention and its implementation.
12- تنص المادة 32 من الاتفاقية على أن يحصل مؤتمر الأطراف على المعرفة اللازمة بالتدابير التي تتخذها الأطراف لتنفيذ الاتفاقية، والصعوبات التي تواجهها الأطراف أثناء القيام بذلك، لأغراض استعراض تنفيذ الاتفاقية وتقديم توصيات لتحسين الاتفاقية وتحسين تنفيذها.

(c) Provide the Conference with information on the measures taken by States parties in implementing the Convention and, where applicable, the Protocols thereto, as well as the difficulties encountered by them in doing so;
(ج) تزويد المؤتمر بمعلومات عن التدابير التي تتخذها الدول الأطراف في تنفيذ الاتفاقية والبروتوكولات الملحقة بها، حسب مقتضى الحال، والصعوبات التي تواجهها في القيام بذلك؛

(b) Provide the Conference with information on the measures taken by States parties in implementing the Convention and the difficulties encountered by them in doing so;
(ب) تزويد المؤتمر بمعلومات عن التدابير التي تتخذها الدول الأطراف في تنفيذ الاتفاقية والصعوبات التي تواجهها في القيام بذلك؛

For the purpose of achieving those specific objectives, the Conference of the Parties is to acquire the necessary knowledge of the measures taken by States parties in implementing the Convention and the difficulties encountered by them in doing so through information provided by them (art. 32, para. 4).
4- وبغية تحقيق تلك الأهداف المحددة، ينبغي أن يحصل مؤتمر الأطراف على المعرفة اللازمة بالتدابير التي تتخذها الدول الأطراف لتنفيذ الاتفاقية والصعوبات التي تواجهها أثناء القيام بذلك من خلال المعلومات التي تقدّمها (الفقرة 4 من المادة 32).
