49. The Advisory Committee notes that, should the General Assembly approve an increase in the discretion of the Secretary-General for unforeseen and extraordinary expenses to $50 million, funding for any expenses approved under such a mechanism would continue, as is presently the case, to be funded from the working capital fund.
