He further noted that several representatives of the organization attending meetings of the Subcommission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities of the Commission on Human Rights were simultaneously representing the World Society of Victimology and the World Muslim Congress, which was an unacceptable practice.

Recalling its resolution 1993/93 of 10 March 1993, and the statement by the Chairman of the Sub-Commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities of 20 August 1993 (E/CN.4/1994/2, para. 245),

In addition, it is worth noting that the Sub-Commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights adopted resolution 1996/14 on 23 August 1996 and contained in document CD/1433 which stipulates in its operative paragraphs the following:

I would like to pay tribute to the decision of the Subcommission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities of the Commission on Human Rights, in adopting resolution 1996/14 on 23 August 1996.
وأشيد هنا بقرار اللجنة الفرعية لمنع التمييز وحماية اﻷقليات التابعة للجنة حقوق اﻹنسان، هذا القرار ١٤/١٩٩٦ الصادر بتاريخ ٢٣ آب/أغسطس ١٩٩٦ والذي نص من فقرتي المنطوق على:

5. During its last session, in August 1993, the Subcommission on the Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities of the Commission on Human Rights, adopted resolution 1993/12, entitled " Situation in East Timor " , in which, once again, deep concern was expressed over the reports of continuing human rights violations in East Timor.
